A16 chips in the new iPhone 14 Pro models only?

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s trusted analyst (via 9to5Mac), the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max may be the only models in the future to carry the new A16 chip. Kuo revealed in a tweet that the standard iPhone 14 and 14 Max will remain with the A15 chipset that will be available on all iPhone 13 models.

Apple has not yet officially unveiled the iPhone 14 product line, but it is expected to unveil it at the upcoming iPhone event, which usually takes place in the fall. Obviously, this rumor has not stopped, Kuo has already predicted the iPhone 14 without a notch with a perforated camera and Face ID hardware hidden under the screen.
Kuo only speculated about the marketing naming scheme. IPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have at least good symmetry. Apple will officially introduce the iPhone 14 series in the fall.
