Australia beat Pakistan to reach semifinal: U-19 World Cup

Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. The openers of Australian U-19 team were able to make 86 runs for the first wicket. The Australians managed to set a target of 276 runs with the loss of just 4 wickets in 50 overs. The openers played a vital role as Teague Wylie scored 71 runs of 97 balls and Corey Miller managed to get 64 runs of 75 balls, as well as a 47 from Campbell Kellaway.

However, this target of 276 runs proved far too much for the Pakistani side. They managed to score a total of 157 runs and got all out in the 36th over. The wickets of Pakistani team fell at regular intervals as none of them managed to score more than a mere 30 runs.

The Australian team has qualified for semi finals and will face the winner between Bangladesh and India.
