Russian forces continue to besiege the city of Chernihiv and seize the city under artillery fire, while trying to replenish ammunition and fuel supplies to continue offensive operations against the third and Kharkov cities.
Canada grants temporary residence permits to Ukrainians fleeing Russian work for three years.
“Ukrainians and their immediate family members of any nationality may remain in Canada for up to three years as temporary residents,” said a statement issued in Canada, which has a large diaspora of Ukraine, particularly in the center and west of the country.
According to AFP, applicants must apply online and submit their biometric information in the form of fingerprints and photos. Refugees in Ukraine can apply for a work permit and work at the same time.
Current Ukrainian citizens residing in Canada can also benefit from these measures.
