Khaqan Abbasi dares govt to show NAB cases’ hearing live
Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Tuesday that the people could get to know what kind of ‘accountability’ was being done in the country only if the cameras were allowed inside the courts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. Speaking to the media outside an accountability court (AC) in Islamabad, he said he challenged the government to install cameras in the courts so that the genuineness of the cases it had framed against us could be exposed through the live coverage of their hearing. He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government would be made to pay for what he alleged each and every ‘excess’ it had committed against the opposition.
