Lahore Qalandars vs Quetta Gladiators

Lahore Qalandars beat Quetta Gladiators in a thrilling match. Lahore's side won the toss and elected to bowl first. However, the Gladiators were put on the back foot in the first over.
Quetta Gladiators lost two crucial wickets in the very first over to Shaheen Afridi. After this, the Gladiators were never allowed to come back in the game. They kept losing wickets and only managed to give a target of 142 runs to Lahore Qalandars. The only prominent innings from Quetta’s side were from Iftikhar Ahmad with his exceptional 52 runs from 39 balls and Umer Akmal’s 25 of 19 balls.
Unfortunately, the target of 142 runs was never going to be enough as Lahore Qalandars have a very strong batting lineup. Fakhar Zaman, the leading run scorer of the PSL season 7, did what he does best and notched up another fifty. Kamran Ghulam also managed to score a fifty from just 39 balls.
The Qalandar’s side won the match in the eighteenth over with 8 wickets still on hand. Quetta Gladiators were outclassed both with the bat and bowl. Lahore Qalandars are now on the second place after Multan Sultan.
